Junior lawyers that appear before Supreme Court not well tutored

The Supreme Court has asked the Ghana Bar Association to educate young lawyers who appear before it.

According to the Supreme Court, some of the lawyers behave like there was shortage of advocates hence allow juniors with less tuition at the bar to appear before the court.

Justice Sophia Adinyira who was not happy with the trend said it behooves the General Legal Council to take up the issue.

Justice Adinyira who was reprimanding a junior lawyer who was two years at the bar in a civil matter was of the opinion that junior lawyers should appear before the court well tutored.

The court was composited by Justices Paul Baffoe Bonney, Jones Victor Dotse, Vida Akoto Bamfo, Yaw Appau.
