Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac has revealed why he had to wait until the latter stages of Morocco game before he effected substitutions.
According to the Serbian trainer, his game plan was working so there was "no need to make unnecessary until his outfit conceded.
“Everything was really tight and I felt the team was functioning well, so there was no need to make unnecessary substitutions, up till the moment we conceded, we were in full control of the match,” Milovan Rajevac told the press after Morocco defeat.

Black Stars on Monday fell to a 1-0 defeat to Morocco in their AFCON opener at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
Ghana Coach Milovan Rajevac named a squad of experience and debutants with Daniel Amartey, Alexander, Andrew Yiadom and Baba Abdul Rahman in the backline. Thomas Partey and Baba Idrissu played in midfield with Joseph Painstil, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Captain Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew in an offensive position.
Sofiane Boufal scored the only goal of the match – seven minutes from time as he latched on to a loose ball on the edge before drilling home.

Ghana's next game is against Gabon on Friday, January 14 - and the Black Stars must win to stand a chance of making it to the next round of the Total Enegies Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 tournament.
