Assistant coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Henry Wellington has revealed that head coach of the club Frank Nuttal did not leave him any training program for the upcoming season before he left Ghana for holidays in his native Scotland.

Hearts of Oak started their pre-season training on Monday without their head coach who is still not in Ghana.

The training was supervised by assistant coach Henry Wellington.

According to him, the Scottish coach left the shores of the country without leaving a report or training program as declared by the club's scribe.

“The coach (Frank Nuttall) never left a report or training program. I don’t know whether he gave it to the management or not,” Wellington told Asempa FM.

“The coach directed me to start training with the players only if the club pays the players’ salaries. Now I'm working according to the instruction of the head coach and without a program.”

Hearts of Oak are preparing for their first pre-season match when they come up against Asante Kotoko in the return leg of the Ghana@60 celebrations game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 24.
