Speaking to the media after the Gold Stars match, Prosper Narteh provided an injury update.
The head coach was optimistic Ganiyu will feature in the club's next match WAFA.
It's not that bad but we thought it wise to rest him because he complained during the warm up and since we equally have a good replacement in Andrew Appau we decided to rest him," he said.
I'm not sure he will be away for a longer time he will play in the next game hopefully.
Touching Ibrahim Imoro who was stretched off in stoppage time against Gold Stars and replaced by Patrick Asmah, Propser Narteh disclosed that the left will be examined today to know the extent of the injury.
He however confirmed that Imoro's injury is serious.
"His injury is a little bit serious per my engagement with the medical team, they will examine him today, Monday, March 14 and get back to me before the close of work."
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko beat Bibiani Gold Stars 5-0 to maintain their place at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
