Former Ghana International Tony Yeboah has rubbished rumours on social media that he is dead, warning those behind to desist from spreading such false news.
News circulated on Monday afternoon that the former Leeds United player had passed on.
"Those people behind these stories must stop this, it is not just me that they have done this to, recently they did the same to Abedi Pele, I am not even sick so when I heard it, I was so surprised," He told Kasapa FM.
Yeboah revealed that he is currently in Kumasi and was shocked when he was told the news by his aunt.
The 51 year old played 59 times for the Black Stars and scored 29 goals.
