Scenes from Jake's funeral as captured by Nana Addo's photographer

The final funeral rites former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jacob Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, was held today, April 22 at the at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra follwing yesterday's memorial  in his honou at the Accra Ridge Church.

The all-white ceremony  had in attendance stalwarts across the political divide including President John Mahama and Former President J.J.Rawlings.

Jake, as he was affectionately called, died in London on March 20 and was survived by a widow, Mrs Esther Belinda Obetsebi-Lamptey and two children, Mrs Charis Obetsebi-Lamptey Zwennes and Mrs Rachelle Obetsebi-Lamptey Senghor.
