Head coach of the USA men's Soccer team, Bruce Arena, has named the final 23-man squad to face Ghana on the 1st of July 2017. The game is expected to draw huge attention in the World's most powerful Country.
The select band of players will also be representing the country in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup which kicks off on the 7th of July.
This will be the 4th time the Black Stars of Ghana will be playing the USA. GHana has beaten them twice in a World Cup game with the USA winning the last encounter in Brazil.
The US Soccer team "The Yankees" for sometime now have been on the rise due to the involvement of players who ply their trade in Europe and come with vast experience.
Bruce Arena has expressed delight at the talent he has at his disposal and will be hoping they blend well to give him the needed results.
''It’s a good roster with a nice blend of experienced, veteran players and a good group of newcomers as well,â€.
''There’s good balance at every position. We can play a number of ways, and I think all these players have a desire to play for the U.S. and will be working hard. It will be a competitive camp. They are going to be highly motivated, very coachable and they have an opportunity to make a statement.''
The game against the Black Stars will be played at the Pratt & Whitney Stadium East Hartford, Conn.
