Some armed policemen and civilians stormed Metro TV earlier today, November 27 to disrupt a live production.

The incident led to a number of media firm's private security getting injured.

A staff member of the station, Dr. Randy Abbey confirmed the incident, reporting that approximately ten people in police uniforms were on the premises.

Dr Abbey, host of Good Morning Ghana, confronted the police officers who reportedly accompanied the men in attempt to disrupt the show’s live broadcast on Metro TV.

In a tense exchange captured on video, Dr. Abbey seems to be questioning the officers about a court order they claimed justified their actions.

After the incident, he revealed that the armed men tried to take possession of his car, when he reached the premises of Metro TV to start his program.

According to him, the armed men justification was that "they have a court order against Metro TV"
