Members of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG) have held a protest march in Accra on Wednesday, giving the sector minister 24 hours to release their grants of two years or incur their wrath.

The GRASAG members begun their demonstration at the Obra Spot at Nkrumah Circle congregating at the Hearts Park where leadership of the association demanded the release of their bursaries and research grants.

The group indicated they called off picketing at the Flagstaff House last week when a government delegation requested to deliberate with them but the session did not yield the desired result hence the march.

Some of the placards read: ‘Mr Terkper, fulfil your duties to GRASAG’, ‘Research, a Critical Tool For National Development’ and ‘Prez Mahama, Where is Our Money?’.
