Prophet Eric Nana Akwasi Amponsah,  the general overseer of the Hope Generation Ministry International church, has made some shocking claims relating to the death of former President John Atta Mills.

The pastor, who is popularly called “Computer Man” claimed in an interview with Asempa FM in Accra that he was contacted to resurrect late Mills, after he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

He said the family of the president pleaded with him to restore life to Mills who had reportedly died of cancer.

However, he said people at the presidency blocked him from performing the mission because they suspected that he was a fake man of God.

“Some people at the presidency at the time thought I was not a genuine man of God. And they prevented me from seeing the president to pray for him. Prof. Mills was a respectable man, but he had some bad characters around him. They thwarted his effort to seek God’s guidance and protection and that cost him and the nation as well,” he said.

Mills died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on 24th July 2012 where he was rushed to after he reportedly collapsed at the Castle.

Mills, 68, was suspected to have died from throat cancer.

He became president of Ghana in 2009 after serving as vice president from 2000 to 2004.
