According to him, the issue of the conversion of halls is being sorted out and that management of the University is waiting for the final outcome of Otumfuo's committee.

The Chancellor of KNUST, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II set up a committee to investigate the disturbances which, among others, were thought to have been precipitated by the conversion of the halls.

Speaking to Starr FM, today, October 8 2019, Mr Bekoe stated that management will not resist any decision the committee comes up with concerning the conversion of halls.
