The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into a viral video showing a man accused of stealing equipment being assaulted by a group.
In a statement on April 9, the Police urged the public to assist with credible information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the individuals involved.
“We would like to urge anyone with credible information on the people involved to report to the nearest police station to assist ongoing investigations,” the Police said.
The Police further assured the public that all those responsible would be brought to justice.
“We would like to assure the public that the perpetrators will be arrested,” the Police added.
