Confederation of African Football(CAF) has lifted the provisional ban imposed on Zambian Referee Janny Sikazwe after the Disciplinary Board found NO evidence of corruption to implicate him.
It could be recalled that CAF last year provisionally suspended him on suspicion of corruption following the way he handled the CAF Champions League match which Esperance won 4-2 against Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto in Rades.Â
But an official statement from CAF revealed he has been cleared of all evidence levelled against him.In 2018 Janny Sikawe became the first Zambian referee to officiate a game at the FIFA World Cup.
The 39-year-old has also officiated in major tournaments.Â
