The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for another two years, reinforcing their commitment to football development in both countries.
The agreement, led by GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and SAFF President Yasser Almisehal , aims to enhance infrastructure, training programs, and football exchanges.
Both leaders have been praised for their strategic vision in driving football growth in Africa and the Middle East-Asia regions.
Key areas of cooperation the renewed partnership will focus on include Technical and Coaching Exchange, Youth and Women’s Football Development, International Friendly Matches and Club Exchanges amongst others.
GFA President Kurt E.S. Okraku stated: “This renewed MoU symbolizes our commitment to strengthening football development through collaboration. By working with SAFF, we will open new doors for talent, infrastructure, and innovation.
SAFF President Yasser Almisehal added: “Our partnership with the GFA aligns with Saudi Arabia’s vision for global football excellence. With the 2034 FIFA World Cup in sight, our cooperation will create lasting opportunities for both nations.
The MoU is expected to enhance development efforts and strengthen ties between the two footballing nations. It also highlights the shared vision of both federations to enhance football infrastructure, technical capacity, and international exchanges.
With both Presidents recognised as innovative and strategic leaders, this MoU solidifies a forward-looking approach to the game’s growth across continents.
