Ghanaian international defender John Boye has left Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor after the expiration of his contract.
The former Hearts of Lions defender spent three seasons with Sivasspor.
Sivasspor chairman Mecnun Otyakmaz confirmed the departure of the Ghanaian alongside other players including Congolese forward Thievy Bifouma.
“The contracts of Brazilian Auremir Dos Santos, Ghanaian John Boye, Ukrainian Serhiy Rybalka, Senegalese Henri Saivet and Congo Thievy Bifouma have come to an end.
“If there are players in there who have desire to continue, we can meet again and get back into the team,†he said.
John Boye found life difficult at Sivasspor last season and made only nine appearances in all competitions for the side.

Boye is now a free agent and has already been linked to Greek sides, Panathinaikos and Olympiakos.
