The Harambee Stars of Kenya have pulled out a stunning result, defeating the Black Stars of Ghana 1-0Â in Nairobi in the African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Black Stars of Ghana faced the Harambee Stars of Kenya, searching for the second victory after thrashing Ethiopia 5-0 in the first match.
Kenya started the game on a front foot, forcing the Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori to pull a great save at the early stages of the game.

Coach Kwesi Appiah's outfit were toothless in the first half as they possessed the ball but could not create decent opportunities.
Ghanaian defender Nicholas Opoku in the 40th minute slotted the ball into his own net following an attempt to clear a cross, thus, sending the Harambee Stars of Kenya 1-0Â up against the Black Stars in the first half.
The four-time African champions could not capitalise on the red card as the Kenyans were down to 10-men following Joash Onyango serious challenge on Majeed Waris at the edge of the penalty Area on the 62nd minutes.

Ghana had the chance to restore through Raphael Dwamena who was teed up by Thomas Partey but the Levante striker missed the glorious opportunity as he struck the ball wide.
Kwesi Appiah's troops threw everything at Kenya but could not find the equalising goal as the clash ended 1-0 in favour of the Harambee Stars.
The Black Stars regardless of the defeat top the group F table.
