The Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah has pulled out of Ghana's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.
Asamoah has ruled himself out of the fifth round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The 28-year-old called on the Black Stars technical handlers to excuse him out of the crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia this month.

According to Angel FM in Kumasi, Asamoah opted not to join the senior national team of Ghana in Nairobi to start preparations ahead of the match due to a swollen knee injury.
The news has come as a surprise since Asamoah played full throttle when Inter Milan suffered a 4-1 defeat against Atlanta on Sunday in the Italian Serie A.
