Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities has appointed former Asante Kotoko coach, Maxwell Konadu to come and beef up the technical team until the end of the 2020/21 seasonÂ
The former Black Stars assistant coach is currently with the national under 17 side, Black Starlets after being sacked by Asante Kotoko in December 2020.
The club's official statement read ''Management has with immediate effect taken the decision to augment the set up of the club. Maxwell Konadu has been hired to beef up until the end of the 2020/21 football season".
Coach Bashir Hayford who replaced German-Bosnian coach Goran Barjaktarevic who was sacked few days after losing 3-0 to Great Olympics in Match Day Two has been struggling to keep the Royals afloat and thus has decided to hire Konadu to augment their technical department.
The future of Bashir Hayford is still unknown.

Legon Cities are without a win in their last four matches and are lying on the 13 position with 39 points, 2 points above 16th-placed King Faisal.
