The Black Meteors of Ghana couldn't seek revenge in their second game against Japan at the Fukkuoka Stadium.
The team on Saturday suffered a 6-0 humiliating defeat in the first game at the Fukkuoka Stadium and were on a mission to redeem their image in today's encounter.
However, it was the same old story at the Fukkuoka Stadium on Monday. Ghana were white-washed by 4-0 which means that coach Paa Kwesi Fabin's side lost the two matches 10-0 on aggregate.
Ahead of the second game, assistant coach of the Black Meteors Yussif Basigi said they have put the pieces together and are upbeat about their chances heading into the game.
‘’The fact that we have put ourselves together for a long time; you could see glimpses of a good team. Unfortunately the Japanese, they are a well-rehearsed side with a good tactical play and it really worked for them because if you look at our side it was quite individualistic which didn’t help team cohesion’’ Coach Basigi said.
‘’They took advantage of the lapses on our side and they punished us as a result of that. But now we have also come back to do post match analysis, we have picked all the weaknesses from our side and the strength from their side so now we are putting the pieces together to play them in our next game which I think will yield very good result this time around.
However, Ghana couldn't do much as they got beat again by their counterparts.
