Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos scored a late freekick as Germany beat Sweden 2-1 in the Russia 2018 World Cup..
The Germans were in dire need of the three points after losing their first game.
They poured forward early on in the game and were pecked back by the Swedes.
In the 32nd minute, Viktor Claesson found Ola Toivonen inside the box, he spotted goalkeeper Manuel Neuer off his line and chipped the ball into the net.
The Swede were confident from that point off and held on till half time.
Germany upped their game in the second half and got the much-needed equalizer in the two minutes after the break.
Marco Reus received the ball inside the box, reacted quickly and without any problems stabbed the ball inside the left post.
The match-winning moment came added time, Toni Kroos got to the ball on the edge of the box and fires in a first-time free kick which landed striaght in the net to give Germany a 2-1 win.

Germany will now have to win their last group game against South Korea to progress to the next phase of the tournament.
