Ghana's Black Stars made it two out of two wins in the March international break.
In a top-of-the-table qualifying match for the World Cup 2026, the Black Stars made light work of opponents Madagascar with a 3-0 victory at the Mimoun Al Arsi Stadium, Morocco.
A brace from Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus' strike helped Ghana pick up the maximum points to open a 5-point.
Ghana began the game on a front foot and opened the scoring courtesy of Thomas Parety. The Arsenal midfielder header home Jordan Ayew's free kick in the 11th minute.
The duo combined again to double Ghana's lead in the 54th minute. Another delivery from Jordan Ayew was met with a powerful header by Partey who got his brace on the day.
Jordan bagged a hattrick of assists as he laid a weighted pass for Mohammed Kudus who poked it beyond the reach of the goalkeeper to make it 3-0.
Today's win see Ghana maintain its top position with 15 points, Madagascar second with 10 points, followed by Mali and Comoros with 9 points each.
