One of Ghana’s leading commercial banks - Cal Bank officially launched its rebranding initiative before an enthusiastic audience of stakeholders in Accra on Wednesday – 2nd August 2017.
The development forms part of an ongoing implementation of a three-year strategic plan for the bank that began last year – 2016 and is expected to run till 2018.
The strategic plan primarily borders on some areas Cal Bank considers critical to its business future in the industry.
It includes its digital transformation agenda aimed at enhancing Cal Bank’s sustainability in a technology-driven banking industry.
Furthermore, the current deployment process of its Point of Sale Terminals to businesses to facilitate MasterCard and Visa Card payments.
Speaking at the event - the Managing Director of Cal Bank, Frank Adu Jnr., reassured the bank’s stakeholders and the general public that “a true brand architecture [would result] in a stronger Cal Bank imageâ€.
He stated that the theme for the rebranded Cal Bank is: “Forward Togetherâ€.
He on behalf of the institution expressed gratitude to customers and shareholders for sticking with them over the past 25 years of the bank’s operation and still willing to continue.
