Ghana’s leading beverage company, Kasapreko has disclosed plans to expand its production capacity in a bid to match its new production target of 3.5 million cases of spirit products in 2017.

Commenting on the development at an awards dinner organized for the company’s stakeholders in Accra, Managing Director of Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL), Mr. Richard Adjei, said:

“This year our target is to hit 3.5 million cases for the spirits category. New machines will be coming for expansion this year. We want to produce more to meet the high demand from consumers and stakeholders”.

He further hinted on the company’s intention to invest in the Water and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSDs) division following the increasingly high demand for the product particularly, the Awake Water and the other soft drinks

.KCL had during the ceremony recognized its top 30 distributors and partners for their outstanding performance and commitment to the company last year.

At the close of the event, some distributors and partners from various divisions of the country’s beverage giant, went away with prizes ranging from sales trucks, mini sales vans, tricycles as well as different products of Kasapreko.

Prince Piddah Enterprise was awarded the overall best performing distributor for the Spirits category while Augustine Kwarteng Enterprise in Kumasi won same award for the CSD category.

There is no overemphasizing the fact that distributors play a key role in spreading brands like Kasapreko but for the leading ‘made in Ghana’ beverage company, it’s a whole new level on such partnerships.
