Ghanaian singer-songwriter, Paul Nii Amu Andrew Darko, popularly known as Darkovibes has revealed why he never replies to female fans who send him direct messages.
Darkovibes mentioned that females can cause a lot of trouble with just one quick and harmless reply, so he tries as much as possible to stay out of it.
“It’s not safe to respond to females’ DMs. it’s a cold world out there,” he said.
The “Stay Woke” hitmaker said in an interview on Showbiz Review on Daybreakhitz that he has no problems with any female expressing her feelings for him in his DM but he won’t reply.
“Sometimes you have to protect your energy,” he said.
He added that he’s very selective when it comes to the female fans he entertains in his DM.
According to him, if the fans' accounts show she’s verified he replies easily because it only means two influencers having harmless conversations.
Darkovibes is currently promoting his new song #jemappelle where he featured Nigerian American singer Davido.
Darkovibes also apologised to all his female fans and asked them not to be offended by his actions but rather try to understand him.
“I’m sorry babes,” he apologised.
