Ghanaian highlife musician Kofi Kinaata has come out to say that he is not ready to be signed on to any record label after saying ‘goodbye’ to High Grade.Â
Kofi Kinaata has been managing his own project for the past one year without a record label releasing hit songs and playing big shows across the world, he recently revealed in an interview that he is not ready to join any record label as it stands now.
“I am not with any management, for now, it’s a personal decision. I am working on myself for now. I have people who are working for me. I have a team, I have acting managers and all that.â€â€œI can’t miss High-grade family, its a relationship. Every High grade fan is a Team Move fan, every Team Move fan is a High grade fanâ€, he said.
According to him, these record labels want artistes to work for them, but the labels are not willing to help them as artistes.Â
