Ghanaian highlife musician Kwasi Poku Addae, aka Kwaisey Pee, has disclosed that he doesn’t write down the lyrics of his songs. According to him, they just flow out of him.
Speaking on Hitz FM, he maintained that his songs just come to him without any hustle.
He said he’s usually inspired by the things that happen around him.
The ‘Amazing God’ crooner also added that in 2015 when he released the song ‘Mehia Odo’ which means ‘I need love’, he needed love at that time and that’s what inspired the song.
Speaking on whether the Ghanaian music industry has reached its peak, he mentioned that it saddens his heart knowing that Nigerian songs have dominated the Ghanaian music airwaves.
He also added that the music industry must change its ways so that Ghanaian songs can also break boundaries.
