Gospel musician and Evangelist Diana Asamoah who has been composing a number of songs for the President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo prior to the December 7 polls, said she nearly left the confines of Ghana to save herself from pressure.

According to her, individuals she failed to name, demanded to know from her why she did songs for the NPP and at a point threatened to chase her out of the country.

“They called me and questioned me on why I composed a song for someone who was not created to be President, but I stood my grounds and today I thank the Lord that he has made his prophecy come to pass…,” she said at the NPP’s thanksgiving service at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The songstress in her latest song compared Ghana to Jerusalem and Nehemiah to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate for the NPP.
