Former President John Mahama’s comment on Tuesday, September 7, 202, that the next election will be a “do or die†affair has drawn varied reactions from Ghanaians.
“We have learnt our lessons from happenings during the 2020 polls. The 2024 elections will be won or lost at the polling station. It will be do-or-die at the polling stations. The right thing must be done during the polls,†he said during his tour of the Bono East Region.
On social media, the reactions have been sharply divided.
While some commentators say the 2020 presidential candidate for the opposition NDC articulated the sentiments of the masses, others believe his comment is unbecoming of a statesman.
Below is a compilation of the 20 fascinating reactions to Mr Mahama’s “Do or Die†comment.

I still can’t get over the fact that John Mahama, ex-president of our country, sat on a radio station and said 2024 elections will be do or die...this man doesn’t care about the citizens or anybody but himself. Total shambles.

Forget the "Do or Die" remark. it's the fact that JM is still going around spewing the nonsense that the 2020 elections were rigged .Thats very irresponsible.
