The 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz is getting tougher and more interesting as Krobo Girls' SHS has qualified to the semi-final stage.
Krobo Girls' beat Holy Child School and St Margaret Mary SHS with 34 points while they scored 30 and 21 points respectively.
The two schools have therefore lost their place in the 2018 NSMQ and will return to the 2019 edition as seeded schools.
With the introduction of the GCB Bank's Money Zone, each point of the competing schools at the quarter-final stage is worth Five Ghana Cedis(GHS5), which will be paid out to each of the three competitors and their teacher.
St Margaret Mary received a total of GHS420 as a cash price from GCB Bank Ltd, while Holy Child School received a total of GHS600, and Krobo Girls' received GHS680.
The Quarter Finals stage spans from June 28th- June 30, and Semi-Finals on July 2, 2018.
The Grand Finale of the NSMQ 2018 will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
