32 suspects standing trial for the murder of the late Major Mahama have been discharged by an Accra District Court to enable prosecutors join the case and present one charge sheet for all.

They were discharged and rearrested to join other 24 suspects also standing trial for the same murder case.

Prosecutors, led by DSP George Amegah, prayed the court to discharge the 32 suspects to enable them have one charge sheet for all the suspects since there are currently three charge sheets.

The court granted the request and the 32 were discharged only to be rearrested to help the police prepare one charge sheet for all the suspects.
