President Akufo-Addo has appointed Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin as the new board Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
In a letter signed by the President’s Secretary and Ambassador-At-Large, Nana Asante Bediatuo disclosed that Member of Parliament for Effutu replaces Herbert Krapa, now the Minister of State at the Energy Ministry.
The President further directed the Sector Minister to act on the nomination following the Company Act, 2019 (ACT 992) and the Regulations of the Company.
