Three of some of the best Senior High School's in the country, Adisadel College, St. Thomas Aquinas and Prempeh College will lock horns in the grand finale of this year's National Mathematics and Science Quiz(NMSQ) scheduled for today(Thursday) at the National Theatre.

All three schools put up sterling performances to make it to the finals where they would battle it out for the ultimate prize and the bragging rights till next year.

It has been a tortuous journey for organizers, PrimeTime  from the preliminary stages where over hundred schools participated through to the quarter finals and electrifying semi-final on Monday, where the three schools stood up to the challenge in their various competitions.

It is now set for the best of the best to battle it out for glory as the entire country would be watching with bated breath, the team to emerge winner of the most-publicized event.

Prempeh College appears to be the favourite to win after their dominating run to the grand finale, brushing aside their opponents with ease.

They would also be looking forward to winning the competition for a record fourth time. Adisadel, which won the competition for the first time last year, would be hoping to defend their title.

The Zebra boys, the loudest contestants in this year's competition are expected to carry along their supporting squad to the National Theatre to cheer the contestants to victory.

Aquinas is also looking for a double, having won the competition once in previous years.

They have been impressive and would do their best to cause an upset by walking away with the ultimate prize. At this stage, all teams are worthy winners and any school that walk away with the ultimate, would most likely do so by the skin of their teeth.
