Chancellor Angela Dorothea Merkel of the Federal Republic of Germany, in her state visit to Ghana, is expected to participate in a business dialogue to facilitate exchange on the prevailing business environment in Ghana.
 The Chancellor’s visit will have both countries hold deliberations on how to tighten the economic ties between both countries.
The discussions will involve ways to further strengthen the already cordial relations between the two countries.

The Chancellor will be accompanied by the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Gerd Müller, and a high-ranking German business delegation.
The visit will be the first to be undertaken by a German Chancellor to the country since 2004.
