Bawumia commissions Otuo Siriboe STEM JHS in Juaben

Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on Sunday, December 1, commissioned the Otuo Siriboe STEM Junior High School, in Juaben of the Ashanti region.

The school which is the first of its kind, will specialize in STEM education and science laboratories to aid in teaching and learning.

The government seeks to build similar schools in other parts of the country.

The Paramount Chief of Juaben, Nana Otuo Siriboe II, expressed appreciation to the government for naming the school after him.

Being a trained engineer, the paramount promised to personally take some teaching lessons with the students.

“I express my gratitude to the government for the honour of having the school named after me. We also acknowledge the progress made in our community and extend our thanks for the establishment of the school. My constituents have committed to supporting Dr. Bawumia in recognition of the advancements in Juaben.”
