The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a system upgrade for customers using the Clou prepayment meters scheduled from Friday, October 25, 2024, to Sunday, November 24, 2024.
This upgrade will affect customers from Afienya, Nungua, Tema North, Tema South, Ablekuma, Bortianor, Korle-Bu, Nsawam, Ashiaman, Amasaman, Kaneshie and Dansoman.
According to the ECG, the upgrade process will require customers using the clou prepayment meters to input a 40-digit token to reset and upgrade their meters.
The ECG has warned that users may experience issues with the ECG Power App during the exercise.
Customers are advised to visit the nearest ECG prepayment vendor or district office or call the ECG’s contact centre at 0302-611611 for assistance.
