The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has disclosed that there will be limited senior high school teacher recruitment in early August.
He announced this on his official Facebook page on July 30.
The Minister did not provide additional information about how many teachers will be recruited for the limited posting.
Also, there was no information on the subject areas of interest either.
“I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week.
“Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment,” he announced.
The announcement comes after the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the recruitment of 15, 200 nurses and midwives, effective Monday, August 5, 2024.

In a statement released on Friday, July 26, 2024, the MoH confirmed that the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has granted the necessary financial clearance for the recruitment process.
Interested and qualified candidates are expected to apply through the MoH’s online application portal, where they can select their preferred agency under the Ministry. The application period will close on Friday, August 23, 2024.
The Ministry has emphasised that the recruitment process is free, and applicants are warned not to pay any fees to individuals or entities claiming to facilitate the process.
