Mahama appoints Jones Borteye Applerh as GIHOC CEO

President John Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh as the acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries.

Jones Borteye Applerh’s appointment is per article 195(1) of the 1992 constitution of Ghana.

This comes after the president dismissed former chief executive Maxwell Kofi Jumah.

His appointment took effect from January 21, 2025.
