Former President and Flagbearer for the national democratic congress John Mahama has donated a 7-seater vehicle to the Islamic Education Unit of the Ghana Education Service (GES) at Tamale in the northern region.

Mr Abdul Karim Bapuni, General Manager of the Islamic Education Unit received the vehicle on behalf of the unit and expressed gratitude for the timely donation.

“This gesture will greatly enhance our mobility and our ability to engage more effectively with educational initiatives across the country”, Bapuni stated during the ceremony.

Earlier this week, during the National Muslim Conference held in Accra, the former President again presented a vehicle to the National Chief Imam as part of his contribution to the Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund of Ghana, reinforcing his dedication to uplifting the Islamic education framework and charitable organisations in the country.

Mr Mahama again showed his commitment to media outreach by distributing motorbikes to support the operations of five Hausa language radio stations in Accra. These radio stations play a crucial role in facilitating communication and fostering community engagement among the Hausa-speaking populace.

As Mahama continues his campaign in the Northern Region, these initiatives underline his focus on education, community support, and ensuring that diverse voices are heard across the country.
