Mahama revokes Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng’s appointment as MIIF CEO

President John Mahama has revoked the appointment of Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund (MIIF), effective immediately.

The revocation, announced in a letter dated January 13, 2025, was signed by Mr Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President. 

The letter instructed Mr. Koranteng to hand over his responsibilities to the President’s representative at the Ministry of Finance, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson.

Dr. Forson will oversee the fund’s operations until a substantive CEO is appointed.

The President expressed gratitude to Mr. Koranteng for his service to the nation.
