The 2016 Independent presidential candidate has said the establishment of an ideological school by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is retrogressive in a 21st century world.
In a statement issued on August 17, Jacob Osei Yeboah questioned how a political ideology can solve the 'galamsey' menace, corruption and other challenges confronting the country.
“I've never witnessed such backward idea of setting up a political ideology school in the 21st century. While the Westerners who are proponents are relegating their key divide and rule tactics to the dustbin of history, the NDC has been applauded by NPPâ€, he said.
Mr Osei Yeboah condemned the NPP for their response stating that “For NPP to follow NDC in establishing political parties' ideological schools is like the blind leading the cluelessâ€.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) recently launched its ideological school known as the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy.
The school according to the party will inculcate its principles, ideologies, and values to members.
