Parliament's Appointments Committee to vet Omane Boamah, 4 others today

Parliament’s Appointments Committee will vet five nominees today.

The vetting is part of approving the ministers President John Dramani Mahama appointed.

Dr Omane Boamah, appointed Defence Minister-Designate, will take the vetting seat at exactly 9 am.

He will be followed by Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, appointed Minister of State in Charge of Special Initiatives, who will take the seat at 11 am.

The afternoon session will feature Adjei Kenneth Gilbert, the minister-designate for works, housing, and water resources, at 1:00 pm.

Others to be vetted today include Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, MP, the Minister-designate for the Greater Accra and Charity Gardiner, the Minister-designate for the Ahafo Region.
