The Ghana Highway Authority has closed down the Accra-bound carriageway, the lane from the Peduase Lodge to Ayi Mensah on the Accra-Aburi road.
A statement from the Ghana Highway Authority said the Ayi Mensah to Aburi-bound double carriageway has been turned into a single carriageway.
According to the statement, a section of the road has suffered some slope failures and rockfall which invariably affect the existing highway, the slope has been assessed to have the potential for further rock falls and slope failures.
