A man believed to be his mid 20s has been arrested after he attempted to hijack a car on the Tema Motorway.
A Police officer in an interview with PrimeNewsGhana.com, said the suspect planned the hijack with his accomplices who were hiding in the bush.
He used a stone to hit the windscreen of their target car but run out of luck as pedestrians managed to thwart his efforts leading to his accomplices running and leaving him behind.
The Highway patrol arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.
This development has created a huge traffic on the Motorway.
