Police say they are keeping the identity of a second suspect arrested in connection with the gruesome killing of three people at Alaska near Abesim in the Bono Region, a secret.
“Two suspects are in our custody, one you are aware of…the second one’s name is withheldâ€, said Superintendent Alexander Kwaku Obeng, a Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service.
 Superintendent Alexander Kwaku Obeng gave the update to reporters when the IGP visited the grief-striken families on Sunday.
“There are traumatised persons involved in this crime; the affected family members and the community members and even the police officers who are involved in the scene search and investigation… They need to be supported psychologically,†Superintendent Obeng said.
Already, a 28-year-old architect has been arrested at Abesim near Sunyani for allegedly killing about three children and keeping some meat suspected to be human in a fridge.
The suspect, Richard Appiah who is also a surveyor is alleged to have murdered his stepbrother and two other boys aged between 12 and 15 years.
The body of one of the victims was cut into pieces and some of the parts allegedly kept in a double door fridge found in one of the rooms in the house where Appiah lived.
Appiah was arrested by some relations of one of the victims aged 12 and other members of the community.
