President John Dramani Mahama has made new appointments to the Ghana Immigration Service, the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Prisons Service.

The new appointees were named in a statement from the presidency signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President and Minister of Government Communications, issued on Friday, March 13.

DDGP 3 Patience Baffoe-Bonnie will head the Ghana Prisons Service while DCFO Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong will head the Ghana National Fire Service.

DCI Samuel Basentale Amadu has also been appointed as the new Comptroller General of the Ghana Immigration Service.

These appointments come just a day after COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno was announced as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), following the removal of Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
