On Thursday, November 22, 2018, President Akufo-Addo will embark on a three-day working visit to the Eastern Region.
The president is expected to be in the region from 22 to 24 November 2018.
In a statement signed by the Eastern Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party, David Prah said, The visit forms part of the president’s commitment to deepening grassroots participation in his government and to also acquire first-hand information from the people.The visit will afford the president an opportunity to account for his stewardship to voters who gave him the mandate to govern the country. This is according to the statement.
As part the of the visit, the President will check some ongoing development projects and begin the Akim Oda-Akwatia-Winneba Urban Water Supply system at Akim Oda, among other completed projects.

The President will also be present at a durbar to be organized by the chiefs and people of the region in his honour.
