Prof. Kenneth Attafuah retires as NIA Executive Secretary

Professor Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah has officially retired as Executive Secretary of Ghana’s National Identification Authority (NIA). 

The Professor of Criminology has served as the Executive Secretary of the NIA for the past seven years, being at the forefront of the registration and issuing of the Ghana Card.

In a brief farewell message, the management and staff of the NIA wished Prof. Attafuah well in his future endeavors.

The staff acknowledged his contributions to the success of the National Identification System, which they believe will benefit generations to come.
