Effective from Monday, a bag of sachet water popularly known 'Pure water' will be sold at â‚¡3.50p.
The increment was announced by the National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP).
In a statement signed and issued by the National Director of Corporate Affairs, Kwame Agyapon Ntra, they explained the increment was due to the rising cost of production and distribution.
It added that "the price of iced sachet, however, remains at â‚¡0.30p as previously announced by the national body."
The â‚¡3.50p price of the sachet water is the agreed price for sale from trucks and depots.
