The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has explained that the power outage experienced in various parts of the country on Saturday, April 27, was due to a heavy rainstorm.
In an official statement, ECG assured the public that their engineers are working diligently to repair the faults and restore power as quickly as possible.
“ECG wishes to assure all affected customers that our engineers are working assiduously to repair the faults and restore power supply,” the statement added.
ECG concluded by apologising for the disruption and thanked customers for their patience.
“The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” the company stated, promising to keep the public updated on progress as repairs continue.
