Selfless doctor of Shekinah Clinic, Dr. David Abdulai has finally been brought to Accra to receive the specialist care he deserves.
Reports suggest the doctor also called ‘Mad Doctor’ for his free medical services to the poor and deprived in Tamale for some time now has been suffering from a stage-4 thyroid cancer which requires a substancial sum of money to treat.
With help eluding him and the good doctor’s situation worsening, President John Mahama intervened leading to the Ghana Air Force escorting him to the capital city as rendered by Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe on Wednesday.
It appears the good deeds of the ‘Mad Doctor’ have saved him as he is reportedly receiving the care he needs.
The fund-raising efforts however undertaken on behalf of Dr. Abdulai by sympathetic persons is ongoing and interested persons can donate cash through:

Dr. Abdulai served at the University of Ghana Medical School, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military Hospital before setting up Shekinah Clinic in Tamale which receives about 30 patients daily who are taken care of without charge.
